When 16 year old Allie Sheridan first arrived at Cimmeria Academy it was as a punishment, to teach her how to be a good respectful student and lady. It definitely wrapped up well, though.The 3rd book in one of my all time fav series, and guess how it ended up? I guess I already miss the series, and I can’t believe it’s over.
A good close to the Nathaniel conflict, even though I’d have liked to know what had happened with their new organization. The rest of the plot: I think Allie’s final plan was smart, even though Isabelle gives that girl way too much power. I find it hard to believe that Rachel’s best friend was the only one who didn’t realize, even if she did have a lot going on. I didn’t necessarily blame Allie at that point for not spotting it, since I pay much more attention to detail in books than I do in real life, until I found out that the rest of Cimmeria had figured it out too. Maybe in the fourth book it wasn’t so obvious, but the second Allie mentioned Rachel smelling like Nichole and she jumped to the same shampoo conclusion, I knew they were together.
Nichole and Rachel: I reread part of my Resistance review, and laughed when I read about my Rachel confusion. A must read.Īll I really want to rant about right now is the romance, so lets jump right into that.Īllie and Carter: ACarter and Allie had the cutest ending, and they were the perfect close to this epic series. Furthermore, it has the perfect touch of friendship and romance that make up a good story (especially a good YA story). Night School is written with strong suspenseful elements. Not to mention Allie has to make life changing decisions as the conflicts that followed us throughout the series finally come to a close. With the stakes higher than ever, Cimmeria has a few more tricks up their sleeve to save themselves from Nathaniel.
Non spoiler review: Night School always keeps you on your toes, and I think this book may have been the most suspenseful out of all of them. But Allie and the other survivors aren’t done yet. I give this one, like all the others, ten stars. Daugherty, and I’ve eaten up each of the five books up. The Night School series is a YA thriller by British author C.J. Alas, a series that been with me for five years has come to a close.
